Neal has fished from North Sunderland Harbour since he was a boy, learning the trade from his father. Most days — weather permitting — he takes his boat, the Beachy Head, up to 30 miles out for crab and lobster.
What comes back goes straight to Head Chef Alex and the kitchen. Look out for the Beachy Head moored in the harbour when she's not at sea.

A Seahouses family, a new chapter.
The Old Buoy Inn opened in March 2025 in what was the St Aidans Hotel — independently owned and run by Neal & Nicola, whose family has a long history in Seahouses.
